Have a few winter visitors calling each day, around 16 species. This is one of my favorites, the Spotted Towhee. Just love that red eye.
No towhees around here, Towhee daylilies but they show up in the summer, when it's warmer.. Looking at Towhees quickly though, it is possible to see a Robin. Those I have, dozens of them, in the wintertime they like the holly berries. Jerry
We are getting our ducks on the pond--gadwalls, and sometimes Northern shovelers. They don't come during summer and fall, but we look forward to seeing them each winter and into spring. These are a small flock of gadwalls:
