We took an evening stroll along the quay last night to see what was left of the lights that boats string up for Christmas. Most were down, but there were a few more.
As soon as we crossed the little bridge and we saw the lights I broke into the old Platters tune and she took my arm.

Of course I knew she was cutting her eyes left and right to be sure no one was paying attention. Who knows perhaps there is a kiss cam in the harbour as well. If it does come I shall stand first in line. hahaha

For those too young to remember the tune, here it is.

Thank you, Island. I should have taken a pic when the ships were full of lights.

Anyone who appreciates music from times gone by should search "Cold Case Endings" on You Tube.

This ten year-old series was about new evidence of deaths from the 1930s to date. Each episode had contemporay music featured during the episode, with something from the hit parade of the year the case was about plahyed over the closing scene. These "endings" became a cult and dozens of them have been posted on YouTube.

Here's one from one of my favourite episodes featuring a recording from 1940, I hadn't heard before.

WASP The women pilots who delivered planes during WW2.

This is my all time favourite.

    Daniela,
This could make you cry.(read the comments)

Trivia, David Gates is the last surviving member of "Bread." He'll be eighty this year.
