Hi Matt Craven here from Sunny South Wales, well maybe not sunny more wet these days than sunny. Been doing gardening for the last 4 years since leaving the private security world and loving it. Gardening has helped me a lot over the past few years with personal things and to help me get through life, so the last few years I have found myself Designing and building new gardens for clients. I did a lot of gardening when i was younger with my grandfather (great teacher) and have followed suit with it through my life but got back into a lot more now and used it as a career, but as a gardener you are constantly learning new skills with the seasons being so up and down lately you find yourself adjusting methods. I have been studying garden design and plant propagation from home with the Royal School for Horticulture and doing a Level 2 in this field. I'm here to pass my skills and what I've learnt as well as pick up new skills and make new friends. Look forward to getting to know more of you
Welcome to our forums Matt. You'll find lots of new friends here who enjoy gardening as much as you do. Looking forward to your posts and getting to know you.
Hi Matt, welcome to GardenStew from north central Texas. Not sure but you are either our first or one of a very few members from South Wales so that requires photos of places, plants and other points of interest. Glad to have you join us.
No problem, just to clarify that's South Wales in UK. Once i've got to know my way around I'll have some photos to upload as I start planting up a project soon.
Oh I know where it is , I learned a few years ago that I might have an ancestor or two from there. But they are so far back in my Tree that I have not really gotten a link established clearly.
Welcome to GardenStew from central Texas. We are on a small farm with cats and chickens, and unplanned gardens. Looking forward to seeing your gardens and hearing about your adventures.
