    Yesterday 30cm of snow and then massive rains.

    That is my house behind. In the foreground is the Road with a wall and half a Garden. We thought our house had been struck by lightning.

    Not unseasonable, we often get snow here in winter. Always expect unexpected weather in the mountains.

    Aftermath of the storm. There was anywhere between 350 to 500 mm of precipitation.

    Thank goodness no one was caught underneath that rock!! It's going to take quite some time to clear up all the mess that's been left behind after the flooding. :smt085

    Everyone living here has survived. Property and general damage is extensive. Bridges washed away and lots of broken trees.

    Odif, we are so sorry that your area had such damage. Living in Texas, we also suffer occasionally from natural disasters so we know how you can be saddened and upset by the loss of infrastructure and flora. I do hope that your area recovers as quickly as possible.
