it's amazing how cut and dry you pro vaxxers make this issue out to be. medical science is bad science, they understand so little and make progress in the dark threw trial and error. and when they do realize that they are creating a massive problem ( ex. antibiotics ) they just suppress this truth because it would hurt profits.
peoples blind trust in big pharma and big government is not a good thing.

What I am really most disappointed about, downright steaming mad actually. Is that ALL OF THIS could have been easily prevented. By every country...

    :smt013 :smt013 :smt013

My country and China are the best of friends. So we immediately took all safety precautions. On all airports and elsewhere.

But while we were taking extra precautions EVERYWHERE in my country - Rest of the governments around the world just weren't taking it seriously. It actually would be fair to say, that they were all living in their own bubble, (totally detached from reality)...

So even now, we can say that we didn't have a single case of Coronavirus infection from China.

Pakistan has a population of over 197 million people. And so we only have 4,200 people infected.

    http://covid.gov.pk/

But obviously, this number - Even though isis low now. Isn't going to go down anytime soon... However, the question is, that if we didn't get any infection from China. As the Chinese authorities too started aggressively screening on their side of the border, and on their airports too - While we did the exact same on our side.

So how did Pakistan get infected??? Answer is, from Iran... As the authorities over there too at first pretended that COVID-19 didn't exist in their country. And later when they couldn't hide it anymore, t(as their own health minister was seen coughing and sneezing on live TV). They then did their best at downplaying it, (both of which in my opinion are criminal actions)...

So by the time we became aware that Iran was secretly stabbing Pakistan in the back - We closed our border with them at once. But unfortunately, it was already too late by then.

This actually isn't the first time Irani leadership has knowingly, willfully, tried to harm my country, (and later when they get caught, they always pretend thst it was only an unfortunate oversight)... So this "favor" they just did to us won't be forgotten anytime soon. But that's another subject for another time, (which I do not wish to indulge in right now).

You are of course entitled to your opinion. But I respectfully would like to say, that I don't agree with your point of view, (nor with your mindset)...

Where I grew up in the tropics, I was vaccinated against everything including rabies. I understand that people are sceptical about vaccinations because the companies that sell them are extremely powerful and of loose morals.

We have something like socialized healthcare over here. Not to the level of what it use to be in former communist countries elsewhere. But still cheap.

So vaccines aren't exactly marketed here, they are mandatory, (mostly paid for by the government)...

big pharma colluding with big government. what could possibly go wrong? Lol

part of my reasoning is simply not trusting the science, but also... if everyone is vaccinated then even someone who isn't vaccinated is protected ( herd immunity), so I'm not increasing my risk by not being vaccinated. its a win win for me, unfortunately, this line of reasoning falls apart when some significant % of the pop isn't vaccinated.
maybe in the future government will take away people's choices on this matter ( and various other matters ) in the name of "the greater good", and that is a scray though IMO.

it's spreading in your country too... are you not in "lockdown mode" yet?

there is no stopping this... the only thing they can hope to do is slow the spread so that hospitals are not overwhelmed. and last I checked they are doing a good job of it in almost every country.

This is hearsay, not conventional science. Therefore I cannot see any substance in your argument, (although I still do appreciate and welcome a healthy debate)... But had it not been for medicines and vaccinations. Half the world would have been dead from malaria already. This is a fact.

Another very well recognized fact from history - Is what happened to the indigenous inhabitants of South America, when European explorers arrived - And brought with them ailments like smallpox, influenza, plus a boatload of other infections.

    https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2015/06/how-europeans-brought-sickness-new-world#

So historically, as well as logically speaking. It always makes more sense to vaccinate, then not...

It was indeed unfortunate, that in Christopher Colubus's time, there was no concept of vaccinations. But today we have the science. So to ignore it now, in this day and age - Is highly irresponsible in my opinion.

Healthcare system in New York City has already collapsed. And I mean totally. All of which could have easily been avoided... But nobody listens to scientists and other professionals. Policy makers and elected officials certainly don't - So just look at the end result.

Then by all means, please do visit New York City right now. And post a picture of yourself here, standing in the middle of Time Square - Do this now, and prove me wrong once and for all.
