When my husband built the shelter for the cats, we thought they would be inside the shelter. But. cats be cats. and cats do what they want.
A cathouse just has the wrong ring to it. Cats prefer to shelter under buildings, porches and decks. I'm sure the cats have figured out all the best places. A cathouse seems a last resort. Catnip smelling paint perhaps? Jerry
Eileen, during winter, and sometimes during summer storms, all three cuddle inside the shelter. Otherwise, the shelter is just a resting place. My husband is so happy when one, two, or all three cats go inside. His efforts have not been in vain. Jerry, catnip smelling paint? That's just what we need--three cats on a high. They are weird enough without catnip. I don't even want to think about them on catnip!

Well it could be like peoplle who use weed ! Either ornery or big lovable pussycats ! In my case,, the two cats have to put up with a few dogs who out weigh them by a bunch !! Might come in handy for my cats !
