Good Afternoon, Everyone! Busy time of the year I would say..lol. Thank you to a special person who noticed my absence and messaged me to check on me. That was above and beyond. Have loads of photos, but only a few I will send now...the last set...then and now....my mom made appearances and so did my sun oven...made use of a really wet spot between the a.c. Units-happy elephant ears...son and grands, thornless blackberries, and elephant ears went crazy this year. I have to say my 4 favorite tomatoes so far, are pink Berkeley tie dye, Rapunzel (seeds from a you tuber), Sungold and mountain gold.

@mart We moved into this home 2 years ago this coming December. I haven't really grown many things hydroponically since then. It worked great for me and I'm helping a friend start their hydroponic garden. I do have a pepper growing Hydro, but that's about it. Now that I've gotten the growing in the ground bug out the way...next year there maybe more Hydro...i see it for a winter garden. Thank you about the ears. They are bulbs...each section had one bulb in a bag from walmart. Go figure!

@Ronni. Thank you glad to be back!!

Gee thanks you guys/girls...lol. Yes, I have been busy. Started another bed on the other side of the house to even it out a bit for next year. Looks very lopsided at the moment. So going to be moving some of those giants to the other side of the house. Good thing you can't see but one side as you come into the yard.

Oh mate, I really enjoyed seeing all your foto's. I really liked that. The things that I saw were really looking good. I could have just bitten down on that yellow tom ! The collage of foto's had a bit of everything to look at. You have some attractive flowers as well. Sorry to see the green collar on that tom.
Thanks so much for posting these delightful piccies.
...and thanks for coming back on here -- it is great to see you back.

Your garden looks great! I am particularly impressed with your elephant ears. Try and try and I just can't seem to get mine a decent size. They always end up with spider mites!
Also noticing your noodle beans ... I grew them for the first time this year and I'm not sure what to do with them. I have heard stir fries are good but not to cook the noodle beans like regular beans. What do you do with them?

Hello @Sjoerd and @Netty. Yes, I disappeared again....lol. @Netty...I do stirfry mine like I do my green beans..delicious!!! Thank you for your comments. The 2nd ears just had a life of their own this year. They are much, much taller now than they were before. Already making plans for them around the property for next year. @Sjoerd thank you and glad that you enjoyed them. Gotta do major clean up this weekend.....taking the maters down and prepping the pots/beds for fall. Have much kitchen scraps to bury before the greens find their place in the garden.

Delighted to see you, Hummer. It sounds like you have a ton of work to do there. Please don't over do it in the heat. How's the exercise coming along?

Hi Y'all..,I'm here....a lot to do and been going on. The summer garden is done...most fried to a crisp. Cleanup was slowed by the rain and humidity here. The peppers are growing crazy though. I have one pineapple sage bush that made a life of its own and trying to corral The bad boy...but I like the jungley/botanical garden feel. (Pics to come later) The hummers are enjoying the red bracts s they open. The dino kale is holding its own and th poor basil is being pushed to the ground. The jalapenos are doing well, but those darn moths laying the army worms...it is bad here because of the rain and humidity. They are devouring whatever they can. They attacked my okra and I brought out the big guns and covered the plant so that the powder had enough time to kill before and during the rain. So glad to see the fall like weather today and for the next week. All kinds of visions are in my head for next year and will go on paper soon. Have seeds coming for the fall garden.
@Sjoerd..i am still going to the gym 5 days/week at 6 am, the only constant that I care to keep..i have to keep to manage everything else. Thank you for asking. I find that I ha e more staying power for the garden and yard now that I can move like crazy!! Haha. How is everyone else doing?
