Thank you all for the good wishes! My birthday was exactly what I wanted---quiet, petting cats, pasta salad for lunch, and my dear husband gave me a bouquet of colorful flowers, and went to the recently re-opened Chinese restaurant in town and got us dinner. Darn, it was so good I may have another one next year!
