Dichondra Seeds

What do Dichondra seeds look like in a Dichondra Repens Lawn. I would like to harvest the seeds myself and plant them to start a new Seed bed. An image of the Seed pods or flowers in bloom would be appreciated. Thank you.

 

Well I had no idea what a Dichondra was but it says they are easily grown from the leaf nodes So maybe cuttings are your best bet ! Similar to how we grow St Augustine grass,,,Just take a runner and bury the end part and keep watered !

Absolutely cuttings. I cannot control the dichondra in the lawn some years.

 

Thank you for your response. Our Dichondra seems to be very self renewing this year from seed pod dispersals. The local long eared mowing Rabbits keep it short & trim..
