Strange Blossoms on Begonia

I save my double begonia blubs from year to year. This year I had one of them blossom really strangely. Not sure why. They were really interesting but strange. The first photo is of the way the blossom should look, and the second is how the one plant bloomed really weird.

Great seeing you here. That is odd. It almost looks like a totally different plant. Very interesting. It could be viral.
I wonder about the aberrance called fasciation. The presentation is not what I would call typical, but a possibility I suppose.

Saved bulbs sometimes lose a bit of their vitality. Have you fertilized the bulbs last year?

 

has it been in the cold? Not certain but I love it anyways.

 

Yes it is a bulb from last year. I did fertilize it in the spring. But not through out the summer.
