These are our two wisterias on the back of the house, both have had the majority of the new blooms damaged by that sharp frost we had a few weeks ago. So instead of hundreds of blooms. we've only a few. The worst year we've had with these.

Same with this one at the bottom of the garden.

They will survive, but all we'll get this year is foliage.

A disappointment was the frost getting at the small leaves on this young Acer Palmatum Taylor

The branches are green so I think it will be OK.

I did look at many sites on-line with the idea of getting another, but everyone was out of stock.

In contrast this wisteria which is sheltered by the fence will not disappoint.

Nor will this relatively new white one on the garage pergola. Lots of blooms ready to open on this.

Hey, I believe that it is possible that the damaged Wisteria may well bloom in two months or less. Don’t give up just yet.

DR our wisteria isn't doing much at all this year. There are few leaf buds but I don't think we'll get any flowers. Such a pity as the butterflies and bees love it.

    Yes!
Wisteria usually bloom twice each year. The second time, usually July/August, the blooms are fewer and a bit straggly.
    Ours always do.

I just came to join the anti conversation. I bet I have plants that will inspire wretching somewhere out there in the garden. I will seek them out and provide pictures for you rebels.

Yes Riley, mine too...and rarely, even three times. However that third blooming is nothing to write home about at all.
