While I was watering this morning, I saw a cucumber lurking near the bottom of a vine. Judging from its size, I thought I'd best look for more.
YES! I picked eight nice cucumbers for us to eat and share. I also found a cherry tomato that was turning orange. Can red be far behind?

Wow! You lucky woman. My cucumbers aren't even vines yet. It is amazing how they can lurk though isn't it. Zucchinis are real pros at that.

    Way to go Jane!
Of course you are well ahead of me with your toms and cues...but my tiny examples are coming along.

I am delighted for you if not a wee bit jealous. My Bride says she not speaking to you nor your orange tomato. Cackle.

    Well done.

I noticed my first tiny green tomatoes emerging from the spent flowers.

I don't have any cucumbers this year but my tomatoes and peppers are doing OK. They've just come into flower so it'll be a while yet before we get anything edible from them.

Sometimes I just go and sniff the tomato plants when the longing for a fresh tomato gets too great.

We're picking cucumbers almost every day,
so many we gave some to a neighbor.
The tomatoes are small and green, but we
still hope for red soon. A few little yellow squash too.

This has been a great year for cucumbers and i started later due to obvious reasons..I am picking at least 10 a week now. So satisfying...last year the worms got the 3 that did grow...the growth is crazy this year.
