It looks like the bloom of a sweet potato vine!

 

Indeed it is, ipomoea batata

 

Looks very similar to Purple Datura, (very poisonous plant).

 

We only have white datura here

 

We have both white and the purple one. Whenever I see this plant, I pull it out. As it's a threat to young children and pets. It's extremely invasive too.

 

Datura as far as I know are all poisonous ! II made the mistake of planting some once ! Then I learned that this plant is the same as what was known in the west as (loco weed) !

 

I am thinking sweet potato.
