I live in Florida. There is a field in my subdivision that this plant was set by somebody because there are perfectly spaced rows and lines of this plant. I tried cropping the image to the shape of the plant due to how much greenery there is around it. Its in the middle of the picture. Each leaf and stem is the same size. I know for a fact these plants are 1 year old, because they were not there last year.
Can anybody tell me the name of this plant-tree-shrub??
    Thanks

Well it resembles cannabis but is not because the leaves are not serrated.

Not a schefflera carolyn,, this thing gets 8 feet tall ! Unless you know a different variety from what I know ! It does not grow different stems jut one and each leaf or set of leaves is larger than a dinner plate ! But always a single stem !
This plant may not be like the one I am talking about but is sure growing the same way !

Except for the single trunk, leaves are similar to a castor bean.
