My mouth waters as I contemplate the cake. Now then Netty, if she does bake that, please send a piccy.
We have thin-layered cakes here and they also take ages to make, so I am interested in yours. Fingers crossed for you.

Well since I had the dough already in the fridge I decided to try the cinnamon rolls this morning ! They were great ! And I had made the dough 5 days earlier ! Since you do not knead this dough, I just folded it two or three times to smooth it out ! Patted to slightly less than 1//2 inch thick, spread softened butter sprinkled sugar, cinnamon and some brown sugar, rolled it up cut it and baked then glazed with powdered sugar and vanilla glaze ! I added a bit of melted butter to the baking pan !
These would make great Christmas gifts ! Bake a bunch and put in gift containers then add glaze !

Coconut on the outside and coconut in the middle. Not tried one yet but I know where she's hidden them :D

I really like those. I can see why she hides them.

They are supposed to be made into ''Bounty bars'' but as they have a few calories I decided smaller amounts might be more sensible :setc_014:

Tetters, your round bars look very tasty. I lurve Bounty bars. BTW is that dark chocolate or milk? Either way they are going to be addictive I am sure

Well Zigs, that wicker-topped crust looks splendid doesn’t it. A piece of art actually.

The rural myth in Dorset is that paper tastes better dipped in cider :D

It's lovely, but I've got a box of the burnt honeycombe to keep me happy :D
