Tonight it is going to be Tomato Soup De Luxe with potato salad. Blueberry ice cream for pud.
The meal sounds so simple, but we spent a half a day in the kitchen putting it all together. Half way through that, we decided to make enough for three meals.

We used some of our own components, which may not taste better, but it does give one a feeling of accomplishment.

Of course I did the sousing which included making the herby balls and chopping. While we were at it, we made some appelflappen for tonight. I will post a pic later on.

Here we are beginning to collect ingredients:

Yesterday my wife made crispy duck and pancakes.
Tonight we're having a lobster tail salad.

    Edit.

I got it wrong, it was with rice and vegetables in a creamy sauce.

Mate, that turned out very good. It was simple on paper, but the depth of flavour was so tasty. That tomato concentrate was awfully thick and good this year. The Bride decided in the end bot to add the ham as I was already making herbalized ground beef balls.

,.annnnnnd the potato salad was to die for.

The cheesecake was special because we poured our blueberry sauce over the top with whipped cream.

My taste buds gave full points.
