Hey, Tetters! Good to see you. So you're a Schubert girl, eh? Nice one! My taste in the classics is as eclectic as my taste in other music, so I'm afraid I haven't got a favourite anything. It all depends on the mood. Radetzky March is great for cleaning the house, one of the classical operas for singing as I do boring chores, Strauss waltzes if I feel like dancing with the broom, and so on. Strauss is also a reminder of a rather embarrassing episode in the Gibraltar grotto, but you don't want to hear about that.
Hello again everyone. I'm happy you enjoyed the serenade. I actually posted this before the heart attack happened, but have just listened to it again. Thank you for the welcome back, a bit battered and bruised, but looking forward to getting out there again to do some much needed weeding.

We may see snow yet, and I might not bother to weed just yet anyway, it's very wet and at the moment we have gales again that seem almost as awful as the last lot!
It feels wrong to "like" your post when you bring bad news, Tetters, but I did anyway. You have my sympathy. I just hope you won't get that snow in May.
We have to look on the bright side, I've spent some time in the ''garden room'' this afternoon. Playing around with the plants and titivating them up is like therapy - it's a bit warmer in there too. I have two little indoor fountains running now and a couple of easy chairs. The sound of the water is calming, and should provide humidity for the plants
Yes, we have to, but I feel strongly that we're allowed to complain a bit first. Your garden room sounds like a very nice place to be.
