Thanks all! Nothing was planned. Truth told, I forgot about it because I've been so busy. My husband is the one who always remembers anniversaries. I don't understand how I can forget the day I proposed, but there you go. He said yes, so we went on with our lives together. I'm determined to remember our silver wedding anniversary this autumn, though. I usually forget about that too. And my birthday.
Isn't a sliver anniversary 25 years Droopy? Ian and I don't bother with anniversaries now as we've had so, so many!! Birthdays - once you reach your seventies there's not a lot you can do that you haven't done before so we let them pass.
I believe so, Eileen. I proposed 26 years ago and we got married 25 years ago come autumn, so I'm hoping we'll be able to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We haven't been able to celebrate anything for two years, and we miss it. Unlike you, we celebrate all that can be celebrated, because we like good food, cakes, and company. We have a lot of celebration catching-up to do this year!
