I have just ordered eight more roses from, Cottage Garden Memories. My choice again is for potted plants.. This selection consists of Scented Memory. Pink Paradise. Indian Summer. Bright Future. L'Aimant. Chandos Beauty. Together Forever. Sugar Moon.
I have selected strong scented ones. As I mentioned before. Probably due to the Covid pandemic, prices for roses, potted or bare root, really shot up. Cottage Memories have increased for this year. Potted are now £ 10.95 a 10% discount for buying 8 or 15% for ten. Shipping is now £ 15.00 So I've treated myself. My family and my roses, are my life.

Cor Mike, I reckon you have more roses than I have now - there's just no stopping you. All my specimens from Cottage Memories are also doing well.
I am a bit - no a lot behind this year, because of January's heart attack, but am striving to get up to date with the weeding on the new beds. They have a lot of grass growing up through the plants, which is only to be expected as they are all reclaimed grass, only dug over and planted last year. Fortunately I have help from Zigs, and a friend who pops in to do a bit of weeding when he can. I shall have to post some pictures when (if) the weeding is completed. I thought the potted roses were always £10.95. I paid £8 odd for the bare root ones??

Tetters, we share a love (passion, obsession) for roses. Here in Texas the own root roses do better. Hybrids are short lived, perhaps two seasons.
Thirty-two roses, you are just getting started!

Interesting point Marlingardener. I still have two HT's I planted in my garden in 1964. Just goes to show how the various zones differ.

How are your new roses doing?

Here's the new one I bought this year. I think it's Tropical Lightening. It's a climbing rose but so far is just a bush.

Strong fragrance, hybrid tea fragrance plus something sweeter. I like this one a lot. This is the first rose I bought in many years.

Gosh, wish we had scratch'n'sniff on this site. Lovely roses, thanks for showing them.
