    Excitiement at the homestead today, as this bright little one was sitting outside the window. He almost looked tropical. The visit was brief until he collected a boarding pass for another destination, but what a joy to see him.

    Meet the Western Tanager ( wish I could have gotten his autograph).

    Now then, Mel— that is a real beauty. You are right, it does look tropical.
