The Meconopsis grandis is blooming, this time with a double set of petals. Some of our Meconopsis behave weird every year. I can never figure them out. Anyway, they seem to thrive so I just leave them be:

Me too, @Pacnorwest. I like scrolling through photo threads. So much colour and so many different plants to see!

Thanks @Logan. I really like my Meconopsis. I'm photographing them as they start blooming now. We're growing different varieties, and I think they're all wonderful.

Thanks @Droopy they do well in the front garden and the currants, so the ones in the back I will dig up and put some flowers in.

@Droopy Magnificent Meconopsis grandis:)… the gophers got mine. I have to get the traps set out . It’ usually just one or two gophers they are territorial… so keep your :fingerscrossed:. The ground squirrels are making a mess tooo…
It’s always something. Yesterday I saw a cat walking across the rafters in my patio. Evidently it followed a squirrel up to the roof.

@Logan your are gonna have lots of yummy gooseberries. The blackberries haven’t flowers yet they are great every year. Berries any kind are so much better fresh…
