There was a broom closet in the kitchen--too small to be of any use. so we "repurposed" it to be useful as a wine closet. Take off the doors, add shelving with appropriate labels, and we don't have useless space with a door blocking the passage to the laundry room. Not wanting to get too technical, but according to chemistry, alcohol IS a solution!
I love that space but I'd fill it with soft drinks as I'm T. total. My hubby on the other hand would have it filled with bottles of Real Ale!!
I laughed at that last comment of yours. Sorry. You did well! Smart thinking. We've tore down walls because of doors and corners that were useless and I can't very well put them back up in order to make a wine corner, now, can I?
