I have this plant growing along my driveway there are quite a few of them. The leaves are approx 10" across and the plants range in size from 3' to 5' and still growing. There is no sign of a flower yet. Would appreciate any help on identification have been researching on wildflower and invasive species sites but cannot locate anything that looks like it. Thought it may be Giant Hogweed but the leaves do not match

That looks almost like a Hops plant.

Dop you have a pic of the stem, or can you describe it?

If it is a hops plant, it is actually a vine and it can grow enormously tall. The plant can border on invasive...so keep an eye on it.

Curious to find out what your plants are.
    Keep us posted please.

Here is a pic of the stalks. They are covered with fine hair/bristles

Sorry we couldn't help you. I have to agree with your ID. Even though it's very beautiful, I would get rid of it also......

What else are you growing? We would love to see more...

I have this weed growing around my place a lot, and would LOVE to be rid of it too. I have no idea of its proper name though. I would ditch it ASAP.

Mate, if that is an Ambrosia get rid of it immediately and thoroughly. Do not let it bloom under any circumstances. If it is blooming, destroy the flowers utterly. With fire, for instance.

My horse does love to eat this thing. When I find some, I pull it for her to eat.

It is Japanese Hops. Very invasive and a terror to remove! Good Luck!

Have you thought of Elderberry? It can grow a lot in one season.
