DW and I lost our God daughter in a street racing accident some months ago. She was engaged to the driver but they ran out of time and both left us prematurely in the same event. Recently, DW has been working in support of another young lady, a brilliant child of 10 years in age. Her single mother works for Becky, and they were over last night for clothes washing since their new apt has no machines yet. I cooked teriyaki ribeye steaks on the grill and kettle fried russet chips with green beans. B makes donuts so that was dessert. I was noodling the net while cooking and realized I needed to put this knifeholder on my wish list for Christmas. 1668794387_mn_02.jpg

Yeah. Her fellow was one of that group that watched the youtube show outs being reckless and participated with quite a few others in the late night streets of Birmingham. Caution anyone that acts so foolishly. No one should race in uncontrolled spaces with unprepared daily driver equipment. They hurt innocent people, creatures and property. She was a wedding planner and he had picked her up off a Saturday night event to take her home. They are still in the car in that picture.

Logan - well done :like::like: your lessons on grub in the old country are really great. They may be less posh but just the way we like 'em aye :D
I knocked out some fish & chips today with salad. By the way if you were living a bit closer to us, Zigs and I would be round for a roast on Sunday.

This made us howl. :smt082 Hubby's the trifle maker in the house, with his family recipe passed on through the generations. He makes it for my birthday -it's a few day process if we include baking the sponge cake. I've sent this link to my daughter who recently made her first trifle. Too funny Zigs. Thanks for that.

Today is a treat for dinner - fresh lamb chops, baked onion and green salad. I made mint jelly a couple years ago and still have a few jars left. That will be enjoyed on the lamb.
