I installed a bird feeder with a built in camera. It has a motion detector, and notifies me when activated.

The photos are not as clear as the videos. It's fun watching then close- up.

Great investment. You may ave to rotate it so that the lens does not face the the sky. This is because the camera will take exposures based upon the light level of the sky, making the bird overly dark.

Thanks. I was thinking about that. It also has an internal light that I can turn on from my Ipad but it has a weird unnatural look.

Im impressed it caught 2 birds in flight. Technology can be amazing.

Congrats with that thing. When I had one I enjoyed it so much. You never know what you will capture.

Love those feeder cams . Really cool pics. Where did you find it… very clear detailed pics. Been thinking about one for the swifts birding boxes in spring.

Adding the hummers that over winter in my garden. This is ‘Miss Poppy’ been here for years. She follows me around the garden . If their feeders need refreshing she pokes at the windows ….or squeaks loudly when I am out and about in the yards. IMG_5473.jpeg

The manufacturer is Birdfy. I bought it on Amazon. I recommend comparing the options - there are many choices.

I’ve seen the choices on Amazon, will need just a small motion cam for the swifts nesting box, thank you.

Can’t wait to see more posts from your new cam.

    Thanks Pac !

Today I moved it to a slightly different location. I hope the light is better.

i don't have a lot of exotic birds, but these are fun for me to watch.

Your birds are all exotic for me because we do not have them here. Haha. It is a thrill for me to see Marlin and your birds. Looking forward to seeing more.

Daniel looking forward to some pics from the new location…I’m thinking about just a Humming bird cam.
They are always here thru all 4 seasons. It might be a good investment as one hummer a few years ago I saved from a feeder she was stuck between the foot stand and the bottom of the feeder container. I went out and took her out and held her in my hand just a baby , all of a sudden she flew off . Zip , just so fast.

Ever since then she follows me thruout the garden, churps the entire time and nag's at me thru the windows for a fill up for the feeders. It’s really an amazing phenomenon. I call her ‘Miss Poppy’ , because she is always popping up everywhere when I’m outside or inside when she is not in a sort of hibernation called ‘TUPOR’ during winters.
