Three days ago I brought these home when they were still closed buds. Two days later they were open. It is a celebration.

I saw a neighbor's daffys blooming. Mine are more cautious. A pink cherry tree is blooming, sign of Spring!

Daniel— Mate, thanks for that tune. I recall that one and had it in my mind when I wrote the thread title….great minds, eh.
Great to hear about your ornamental cherries. I am so jealous, for we shall not have those here until much later. Sorry your daffs are so shy. Mine in the lottie are still not blooming well. The heat of the house seems to have drawn them open.

    Cheers Loggie.

Our weather has been so up and down things start to get buds then it freezes. Last week we had 70 F on Tuesday and low 20s the next day. Today it was back up to 70s but later this week we're supposed to be back down to the low 40s. It wouldn't be too bad, but the wind is horrible, makes it 4 or 5 degrees less.

    Ahhh. That’s good, Mel.
They are so pretty to see at this time of year.

I had a talk with some of my daffys, telling them to get busy.

Very pretty, Daniel!. My first indicator of spring are the chives, here. I'll have to check them tomorrow when it's light.
