    For now I simply roast,
    Right over here by the coast,
    Exactly like salvaging a sinking boat,
    I still try to make the absolute most,
    And although sometimes I even boast,
    Whenever successful I also endlessly gloat,
    Turn on the AC at full and be a good host,
    Just to avoid everyone from feeling grossed,
    But when utility company sends a bill by post,
    Is when I'll now either habitually ghost,
    Or fortify my house by digging around it a moat.

    All of a sudden the entire sky is now overcast, and temperature has lowered a bit. It's dusk time over here now - Don't know about the exact readings, as I'm outside driving, while all my weather instruments are at home.

    Clay our temperature was similar this am. I lived in the Hudson Valley for a year (There were still mastodons wandering around in those days) and thought it was a beautiful area and climate.

    My temp this am, mid 40s. Now mid 50s. By afternoon, low 70s. Slightly overcast. Cooler plants are outside, warmer ones soon.

    We've been out working on the garden all day from 9:30 to 5:15 and it's been perfect. Being mostly cloudy made is very easy and pleasant to work in . It has been very warm and is still a fair!y high temp out there for this time of year. Tomorrow will feel decidedly nippy after being so spoilt today.:worried:

    I'm still outside, so haven't yet reached home, (so don't know what my weather instruments are saying). But people are saying that tomorrow morning there will be a storm - Looks like monsoon season is indeed going to arrive early this year. If the government's official metrological department is to be trusted, (personally I think that whatever the government nowadays says, specially related to weather, should be considered as satire, judging from recent experience)...
