SO true. I worked for an huge insurance company life ins/health at the home office. 9 floors of records to search. In LA. Ca. Definitely got a daily work out searching for A-Z records. That pic say’s it all…

 

I always loved going through the card catalog to find things. I spent a lot of time in libraries.

 

When I worked at a local library, the library director was all excited because the card catalog was being computerized and the card catalog thrown out. The adult section had two computers, and the children's library one. I asked how many people could use the computer versus the card catalog. The card catalog stayed.
