It has its first bloom this morning, and will soon have more. The color the camera shows is much lighter in shade than the real color. The real color is a very deep burgundy, but not the same as my other burgundy roses.

I used some old lawn mower handles [aka 'garden junque'] as a trellis of sorts since it was laying on the ground. It might be a climber?

The bloom is smaller than my tea roses.

Your rose reminds me of a floribunda that my mom used to have, called "Red Pinocchio". I also have an unknown red climber that looks similar.

Whatever it is, you grew a beautiful rose!

Until I find out otherwise, it can be rosa Kelly. My friend's name is Kelly.
It makes more sense than some of the dumb names science gives things.
