Wishing everyone who is caught up in extreme weather conditions/ fires safekeeping. The elements that nature throws out for us to with deal are quite terrifying.....albeit maybe just the world's way of warning us to treat it better.

Well we wasn't supposed to have any rain but we did.
Light rain showers and a gentle breeze from the west temp 17c feels like 19c.

 

Finally a break from the extreme heat. Cooler today.

@Oreti the storms that set off wild fires are dry lightening type. I always wonder where all the hundreds of firefighters come from to fight these horrific fires. They are the hero’s of this fight. Pray they all stay safe.

A good morning to work outside

 

Thank you Pacnorwest, the rain didn't last long. The rest of the day it was sunny intervals and a gentle breeze, 21c.
This coming week it will be a lot more comfortable in temp and maybe a bit of rain.

 

Most definitely @Pacnorwest , they certainly, are true heroes. Both my niece and her husband are firefighters and it often amazes us to where they are called out too...way beyond what is considered ' their area', they all pull together and are quickly mobilised to go to almost any part of the country in extreme emergencies. They do deal with wildfires too but not fortunately on the scale of yours. Our worse area is our lovely New Forest and sadly fires are normally the results of irresponsible visitors.
