Pac and Cayu— Thanks so much for liking this wild comedy routine.
It all came into mind because we ate the last of our tatties.

That and a similar situation that we experience here at a grocery shop.

For instance: in the advert above you see a closed pack of three mini coconut cakes. The price is 99 cents per piece (stuk). Because the three pieces are closed with cellophane they are trying to force us to buy three, when there is only the two of us…meaning we only need two pieces, not three.

We like these cakes so we buy them once and awhile. It is always irritating to be manipulated though, so sometimes my Bride holds fast and gets them to make a pack for us with only two cakes in it. Of course the price is then 99 cents for only two cakes, not three, effectively saving us nearly one euro.

??? I'm afraid I am slow here. 99¢ for 3 cakes or 99¢ each, 3 would be~$3. Or is it 99¢ for the packet whether it has 2 cakes or 3.... I'm not getting this.

    So funny.:smt005

Fortunately some of the grocery stores here let you buy individual spuds.

Try finding a breakfast cereal that doesn't have added sugar. They exist, but are nearly as hard to find as gnomes.

Cayuga— 99 cents per piece, not for the pack of three.

Ha ha ha— good one, Pac.

Daniel— thanks mate. Cereal without sugar…. I never realised. I can’t actually remember the last time I ate cereal.
