...no neither are we @Pacnorwest . Looking over this years pics of the garden you suddenly realise and appreciate just how colourful the Spring and Summer months were. Nope definitely not looking forward the coming months at all. Oh how I wish we could go into hibernation.
@Oreti even though it will be cold, wet and winters snow hiding the landscape , I do love the snow covering the garden . Icecicles that hang from the buildings and the beautiful snow crystals covering the shrubs as the sun shines thru the many drops of ice dripping from the garden plants resembling rhinestones glistening in the sun. And well I am ready for a few months break from all the daily rushing to keep up with garden tasks. Hopefully it will be a kinder gentler winter than in the past for both of us.

Oh I do love snow very much Pac, covered in a layer of the beautiful white stuff it doesn't look grey and dreary anymore. The only issue is we don't really get that much, some years none at all .
Sunny intervals and light winds from the north north west temp 8c feels like 6c. Had a grass frost but now it's gone. We probably won't get any snow this year, it's only occasionally that we do, but i don't like walking in it especially when it turns to ice. but i do like to see it.
Beautiful day today. We' ve just got back from visiting friends and now heading out for an afternoon in the garden...too good to stay cooped up. 11 C.

Lovely day ahead ....only issue is do we stay put and have a day in the garden ( it desperately needs some tlc)....or do we make the most of it and go out for the day.....hmmmmm????
