no email from GS after posting

Yesterday i noticed that i wasn't getting any emails after posting on here.
I do have the alerts but like to keep up with emails, with them i know straight away that i need to answer or if anyone has posted, also if there's any new people joining they need a email to confirm.

 

@Logan Sometimes that happens to me because I have to many windows open at the same time.. I generally have to close all the open windows , or turn off my iPad , then restart a new window for GS. Sometimes too many different windows opened at the same time and or video /ads running in the background can cause that to happen.
Or sometimes this site is having technical issues with sending emails, or your email provider's spam filter is blocking emails , or your in box may be full causing new emails to bounce back. Or contact this site for help. I can’t think of any more reasons other than go back in and check your settings for email on this site for verification. Or you need to check for recent updates for your unit. Phew..
Maybe someone else has additional information. Good luck.

 

Thank you Pacnorwest, i don't have any windows open, I've checked everything else and I've checked my settings. I can get used to it and there's probably something wrong with the website.

I've never received an email from GS despite agreeing to notification ones. Not that I really want any.

 

I don’t set my site settings for email notifications. Not really necessary . I just hop on this site when I have time a couple times a day. I know some that use their iPhones and are on some of their fav sites all the time no matter where they are. But I don’t have an iPhone . I share with my DH. I use a iPad for everything. It is important to keep computers and other devices updated .

I remember when I wasn’t getting mail as usual from a fried. It turned out my iPad marked the emails by regular usage to VIP mail box . Took me forever to figure it out. Of course vip was a different mail box which originally was delivered . I have separate mail boxes for everybody to keep track of my messages.

I’m still triggered about why Logan isn’t getting email notifications from this site when before in was a common occurrence. .

Thanks @Pacnorwest for the link, i use my phone for everything, never been on a PC. It's not my email address because i use it for every site.
