The PNW is expecting another atmospheric river to hit. Lots of rain. I hope it floods out all the moles and gophers. Also it would be nice if the deer and antelope float away . Maybe add in a few ground squirrels and bobcats.

Super dooper system coming here a long running atmospheric river storm coming from Hawaii to pound the PNW. I’ve battened down the hatches . This will be a pond filler. 80' to 100', trees were loosened during the last 2 wind storms. We are having 40 mph wind gusts today and two of the trees are leaning and rubbing against each other and the sound it is making is weird. My neighbor says it sounds like elephants screaming and she is not wrong. I think if the trees fall they will miss our the greenhouse which is close to that side near the woods, but might still make a mess in the pastures AGAIN.

The hemispheric river rain storm blew through here last night like the 40 days and 40 nights. It was raining so hard I thought it was rocks falling. It’s over, the temp warmed radically as soon as it passed from 42 to 51. We are having a winter heat wave. 57F High today. We are hitting 60 in the next few days.
Late in dropping by as our youngest son surprised us on Friday by arriving for a weekend stay, haven't seen him since he got back from his travels around Mexico. It was a shame that the weekend weather wasn't better though, especially today. Still wet and windy.

What a lovely Winter's day we're forecast...I wish my body was up for a day of being outside gardening. I am envious of all of you that can.
