Do you know why the air smells so good after it rains?

It's even nicer after a hurricane or even a tropical storm. Clears off all the dust as well.

That's a good video @Pacnorwest I've always wondered why.

 

I always was curious why rain left a fresh smell , now we know our garden plants dropped oil on the ground mixed with soil and rain drops adds to that fresh smell.
