My Kumquat Tree

    One more purchase I made online this year, is this Kumquat tree sapling. Which to my astonishment, is flowering like crazy right now. Since oranges can't grow so easily in my locality, Kumquats are the next best thing.

    That's a pretty plant !! What do the flowers smell like @S-H ?
    I'm not sure if I have ever eaten kumquats. Do they have white fruit with a hole in the middle? I think they will grow in my area but I've never seen one here.

    The smell of the flowers are same as any other citrus, so I'd describe it as mild and fresh. This is an anti cancer power food, about which many people still are unaware of, unfortunately.
