Partial clouds this morning but, you can tell that something is coming because they are moving at different speeds dependent upon what height they are at and they are at three different levels in the sky. We are supposed to get up to 84, like yesterday, with a bit of a cool wind and, by midnight, RAIN !! Rain !! rain !! It's funny how "regular" people are never excited about rain like we gardeners are .

Lovely out here this morning, we are only forecast a light wind today so it feels quite pleasant.....it has dried my hair perfectly .
Every day for a week past and a week ahead...drizzling rain and below normal temps. Kind of misty rain that soaks everything but does little to relieve our drought. Can't do any of the outdoor projects. Oh well, back to bed...where was I, oh yeah, with that Playboy Bunny on the Island...later

It finally rained, a good heavy downpour for about an hour. Thunderstorms all around and it's expected to rain for the rest of the day !!
At 6:30 pm we had a break in the rain. Although hesitant, my dog Rags did come outside with me and we checked the rain gauge. 2 & 1/4" rain !! and the rain has started back up so, with luck, we may make it to a full 3" !!
