I got the best birthday/christmas present from my best friend ever! She sent me a bird feeder with a camera on it so that I can enjoy the birdies that come up to feed on the seed! I've gotten quite a few and soon I'll put jam on some spikes to hopefully attract more birdies! but for now i get the normal ones so here are the few that have come (minus the starlings. they are worse than the bluejays lol)

A pair of Titmouse (or is it titmice??)

    A little Junco
    [IMG]

    Downy woodpecker
    [IMG]

    A nuthatch
    [IMG]

I think this is a red finch... or purple finch, i don't have a clear face picture and haven't looked at the videos to see if i got it flying around
    [IMG]

    A song sparrow
    [IMG]

Bluejay, i know they are bullies but they don't hoard this feeder much at all,.

    Male cardinal

This identified as a titmouse but it looks way too big and i can't find any other bird that looks like this x.x

I can't wait to show more! I am sure more will come as the days get warmer, and i have other tactics to get other birds to come and show themselves for a photograph too! :)

That's a good idea, I'll try setting up one of my trail cams to catch any visitors to our blue tit feeder.

It is amazing what we can learn from other creatures just by observing. So a a bird feeder with a hidden camera is the best way. Without disturbing them in any way.

Yes @Shawchert by all means, please post more - You never know what you might end up capturing. Which reminds me, does this have video recording feature too? Or just pictures? If there is an option for video too, than you should start a YouTube channel.

    My camera's up. It'll record from 5.00am to 6.00pm.
Could be a lot on it, not necessarily blue tits.
