    Ough !! What pretty eggs you have !!.

    Meanwhile, my birds, evidently, have fledged and I missed the whole thing !! I haven't seen any birds on my porch since Tuesday morning. I had to go to Tallahassee for a new IPhone (tariffs ya know and my phone was 5yrs old and the battery wasn't staying charged very long) and didn't get back til late. I think they fledge that day.

    :crying::crying::crying:. o_O

    Anniekay a new iPhone already. I shared with my DH since his passing the service is still ongoing. It’s about 6 years old. It seems to charge just fine and I have been cleaning up all the junk mail. Doing the same with the other electronic devices using a program designed to eliminate and stop unwanted junk mail. Kind of like pressing the ignore button . I hear the new Iphones have great cameras and take exceptional pics. Especially landscapes.

    And those Belding Ground squirrels are enemy #1 here and in many states . They have been known to consume farmers crops and are wanted in every state. I trap them and then of course their toast. But have lost many plants the past couple of years and digging around the foundations.

    We have several different birds here. Butterflies too. Ducks and geese are honking loudly as the pass over in the typical “V” flight pattern and sometimes they layover in the pastures at night, We also have swifts that nest here and barn owls , crows, blackbirds, and several different small birds that nest here regularly. And the robins & stellar bluejays of course . And those annoying red headed sap suckers and the pileated woodpeckers. The hummingbirds have been here for ages and overwinter here. The pigeons also have their regular spot in the fields as do the quail . During late fall vultures hang out in the tall 100’ Doug fir trees looking for small snacks in the pastures as they pass thru . And lots of bats. I guess you could say we have a variety of birds that seem to drop by thruout the season.
