Three years ago I bought plants online and they sent me a "free plant". It wasn't labeled at all but it was a big bulb. So, not knowing really what to do with it, I put it in part shade by my Mayhaw Tree. This is what has come of it:

It produces lots of pollen and the nectar actually drips from the petals. IMG_0125.jpg

That was my first thought but, do Easter Lilies get 6' tall? I've never seen them that big.

Looking up height online 6’ white lilies all I could find are giant orienpet lilies. ??
They are beautiful in your garden. 6’ lilies are taller than both of us… at least my height is a few inches shy of 6 feet. Lovely … Curious do they have a fragrance ?
Fragrance could be another way to locate the name plus height. Good luck.:headscratch:

    I don't detect a fragrance.
I'm just 5' 1/2" and they're way taller than me. You can tell from the pic I took that shows the center of the flower, I held the camera over my head !! :p

My goodness it is a huge lily and must have a giant size bulb. I wonder if you could contact your county extension center they have knowledgable horticulturists that can answer most any plant question.

Lily bulbs in some cases are eatable . I remember seeing a post somewhere a few years ago on the subject.. I’ve never tried them but a garden member suggested they ate theirs .

Oh no, I can't eat flowers. I want to look at them. Some lily bulbs are poisonous anyway.

Crinum asiaticum, commonly known as poison bulb, giant crinum lily, grand crinum lily, or spider lily,[2] is a plant species widely planted in many warmer regions as an ornamental. It is a bulb-forming perennial producing an umbel of large, showy flowers that are prized by gardeners. However, all parts of the plant are poisonous if ingested. Some reports indicate exposure to the sap may cause skin irritation
I have some of these Asian poisonous lillies and the ground squirrels left me a few fragrant Stargazer and Casablanca Lily’s. They don’t flower here zone 8b till late June July.

This here is a Crinum and it's been blooming profusely. It's only been in the ground a year but they love well draining soil and heat, which I have in abundance !!
