everything is looking good! I want to try some of your blueberries, I have raspberries to trade ;). I wouldn't mind trying a paw paw either. Never had them before, they are not a normal thing in our grocery stores, though i thought that with dragon fruit and one of my local places started selling it so maybe now that i mentioned it they will sell some of these! :D

You can grow blueberries in your zone. They just need sunlight most of the day. You could build a whole hedge full of them !!

I can't grow raspberries here because it's too hot but blackberries love it here. I have the thornless ones but brambles grow wild everywhere so blackberries are good to grow here and in your zone.

The baby "bush" winter squash has started to set fruit !!
I always get so excited seeing baby fruits; they're almost as cute as human babies ( most human babies, that is). :smt044

And the Pomegranets are growing on.

Don't worry. You'll be getting tomatoes all summer. Me, on the other hand, will have no fruit setting at all due to the heat. :)

    Nightmare Annie

Do you use the summer heat to sundry any of your stuff? :) I tried with tomatoes once but the solar drier I made got too hot and cooked some of them

I have lots and lots of bugs and particularly gnats from spring to fall so, I thought about sun drying but decided against it. Soo, Instead of sun drying I bought a food dehydrator. I am shortly going to dry some of my parsley and later in the year, some rosemary. The tomatoes I picked yesterday, I made salsa out of those. :)

Wellllll, I ordered white Casper Aubergine seed and got this :
Are those not purple ? Are those not a japanese variety, the long thin kind? I am a bit tee'd off about it. There's one more plant that is flowering but no fruits yet so, we'll have to see. I bet they ran out and just sent me "whatever" so as to not lose a sale !! :suspicious:

Annie—Bingo! You are really showing off! Great to see that aubergine. Success is sweet even when it is the wrong colour, right?
I really dislike it when businesses do that. I would take up contact and see if they would send you the correct one…gratis.

I did contact the seller and sent pictures but so far, no response. 'Sokay, they just lost a customer is all. I really did want the white ones because I read such good reviews on taste and texture.
