    @Pacnorwest ...:smt044:smt044:smt044. OMG!! hilarious !!

All my one cat, a Manx, ever brought home was baby rabbits. He never hurt them, just carried them as if they were a kitten, by the nap of the neck, and brought them, screaming their heads off, into the house !! :chuckle:

Manx cats are originally from Isle of Man. I had a tuxedo Manx cat named Max, who by the way adopted me by following me around the garden. He was good at clearing ground invaders. He just disappeared one day.

Good Monday morning all. Currently 7°C and overcast.
I'm up and off to work this holiday Monday, because theres lots to do and I need to take advantage of the good weather.
But I'm not happy about it.
Have a great day all :)

Sorry your caught up working on Victoria Day which is a federal statutory holiday in Canada. I had to look that up. I hope you took off early. No one like to work on a holiday. Cheers to a good evening.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently a chilly 3°C and clear. There is still a chance of frost settling this morning, keeping my fingers crossed we don't.
Thanks @Pacnorwest , I didn't really mind working the holiday. It was too cold out to do what I wanted to do at home anyway and I had a productive day at work. Plus I will get another day off with pay so I'm going to use that to my advantage. It was a quiet one, even the roads werent bad.
Today at work my helper and I are going to be lumberjacks and clear the walking trails.
Have a great day all :)

@Netty lumberjacking … and clearing trails…be careful. Good to know you have a helper today.
Would you mind sending your helper out my way once in awhile ?

Nothing worse than trimming soggy shrubs today …so hoping the rain will stop. Especially the long drive lined with shrubs are almost covering the drive. Delivery guys are so kind always park their truck at the bottom of the drive and walk the package up to the door. Started to trim a few days ago slowly can see the driveway..lookin better.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 9°C and overcast. Weatherman says its going to be raining for a few days.
Yesterdays plans changed and we weren't lumberjacks, but I think today is the day. Less rainfall in the woods and it really needs to get done. Kinda a nice change from the regular work.
Have a great day all :)

I got my new upright freezer delivered this morning. !! :smt026
I have to wait a few hours before it gets up to the proper temperature to transfer some frozen foods into it but I'm pleased with it.

I like that it has 5 drawers and two shelves and if you have something big to store you can remove a drawer and put the large object in.

Nice freezer. Looks like a nice collection of salt and pepper shakers. I too have a few. And like the drapes pattern reflecting a gardener lives there.

I have down sized one tiny frig the closet style and a small freezer. Took everything out of them both. Hoping to save on electricity. We don’t have natural gas so everything is electric, the pump in the well, the water system to the house and everything in between. Unplugged them both and rolled them out to the driveway and let them defrost.

Now to find some new homes for them. I’m thinking about putting adds in the NextDoor section online free for pick up just in our area notices. But feel a bit cautious about strangers coming to my home. I may wait til my son comes next month before doing that , just cover them up before the pollen tornado’s hit …:nerdy:

@Pacnorwest I have a very large salt & pepper collection. Last count, (which I don't remember the amount exactly, ) was well over 200 sets. The set of Witches I have I bought for less than $20 including shipping went for $125 on Ebay 2 years ago. So, I call them an "investment". :p

No, they just make me smile to look at them and that is really why I buy them. :headbang:

@Anniekay what a clever idea selling on eBay. You got a great deal on your S/P investment. I have been thinking about doing that for sometime . Need to get organized and get it done.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 7°C and raining.
I have the day off, and I'm taking DD furniture shopping. We are in desperate need of new couches. Hopefully we find some we like in stock somewhere.
Then hopefully some gardenwork at home if it stops raining. My flower beds are a mess!
Have a great day all :)

Good Friday morning all. Currently 8°C and raining.
We found furniture at the 4th store we shopped at yesterday and its going to be delivered in 2 weeks. Now I'm kinda wondering if we should paint first haha
I'm off to work, even if its only for a few hours due to the rain.
Have a great day all :)

Netty— what kind of furniture do you have coming in?
Painting first sounds like a good idea to me. Paint has a way of getting onto things, doesn’t it.
