I have not been present here much recently; however, I have been spending a bit of time in the allotment though. Stuff must get done, right?

As the title suggests, there will be some pics here that were taken a few weeks ago, some days ago and some more recent ones. This posting is for my colleagues here, but also for myself…to sort of to keep things in perspective. You know, to keep track of how things here are progressing.

    Right then, here we go:
    Plant that corn, jongen.

    The onions go in.

The leeks went in last week Saturday:

Sorry, I forgot to take an updated foto, the onions are above ground now.

The mange tout sorts are coming right along, the Nairobi are on the right and the Norli is on the left:

    The Nairobi’s are hanging nicely:

    A nice, little harvest:

The broad beans are above my waist now and full of flowers:

    Those lovely flowers:

The beetroot and Swiss chard are getting bushy after several weedings and waterings.

The toms are blooming inside and out, here is one, meet T/TR. Sorry for those unsightly weeds:

Good show of your garden skills and so much to see . I especially like how well you manage your crops and the detailing is above anything I have ever seen. You are working hard and it shows , especially makes all the difference when harvest times comes round .:smt023

Looking fantastic @Sjoerd , so much thought and planning has rewarded you with a neat and bountiful harvest.
We have allotments at the back of our property and I have to say none are as tidy and expertly managed as yours. Well done

Makes my meagre couple of tomato plants ,cucumbers and tray of teeny tiny lettuce look a bit naff.:smt044:smt044

Pac— Thank you for your encouraging words. They make me feel like a real farmer, albeit very small scale. Haha.

Ta Annie. Those peas were sooooo tasty.

Oreti—Cheers for your comments. Interesting to hear that the lotties near you were not tidy.
You know that your wonderful flower displays are so remarkable. I wish that I had the room that you have. I would like to grow more flowers, but I am limited.

@Sjoerd I wouldn't go as far as to say the allotments aren't tidy, just not on the same high level as yours.:):like:
