It's the same here in the States @Oreti . We just can't rely on weather forecasts. I have been relying on increased humidity and cloud build up to predict rain. if it's super muggy and still with clouds looking dark and heavy, it is going to rain soon. If I don't see those signs then I presume no rain is coming and continue my watering schedule. I think it is near impossible, with the climate acting so strangely, for the forecasters to be better than 50% accurate in their predictions.

@Logan showers I totally get are a hit and miss affair at predicting but thunderstorms should be visible from the Uk weather satellite and relatively trackable. ( below) I'm not really talking about showers.....we have been forecast some significant rainfalls lately......potentially much needed heavy ones ......and at the times of our forecast is showing 75% precipitation...we are basking in sunshine, 50% accuracy would be a wonder!!! Now no excuses accepted, just make good use of their technology imo. Now back in the days of Michael Fish....ok....but surely we have advanced a bit I hope.
@Oreti ok but they can't always get it right. At the moment we have showers with a gentle breeze from the south west temp 13c feels like 13c
....not asking for 'always' @Logan ....occasionally would be great. Nothing and nobody are infallible. Anyway they must have checked our cloud coverage on their satellite this morning as we have steady rain now....yippee! It pays to moan occasionally. 15c.
It is so beautiful out today, blue skies and sun! and will be 71°F/ 22°C today. Perfect weather if you ask me!
It started raining at 11am and stopped at 3.30pm. with a moderate breeze from the west south west temp 16c feels like 16c.
It turned out to be a beautiful day. H-78F . Suns out all day , zero clouds and a perfect day to enjoy a picnic out on the patio , no bugs just a lovely light breeze.

Bright sunny start to a lovely dry day . We had a good 2 hours rainfall yesterday ,so the water butts should hold some much needed contents.
it's supposed to be sunny and beautiful today.... until I get out of work then it's supposed to rain... again... because it's not like we didn't get enough in the last month. x.x
