Thank you! I was so proud of myself at the end of the long weekend (this took about a day and a half to finish up) I actually took time off to do this little job too! but well it has certainly paid off! There is a bit of updating I need to do to the bed to make it look nice. I have a friend who is willing to help pick up mulch for me since it's been a year or so since I've replentished it.... it's going to take so much mulch! D:

I'm going to throw more of 2023's photos and realized I had so many of 2022 but I'll just show the one picture that was impressive because I grew morning glories, however only 1 plant survived and omg did it survive!!

Lovely Garden !! @Shawchert. So vibrant and healthy and I'm jealous that you can grow bleeding hearts. That was my Grandmother's favorite plant. It's too hot for them here.

I have a little time to continue my story!

In the beginning of autumn 2023 I started my next project which is my herb garden in my front yard, knowing i did NOT want to dig up all that grass and that I had a limited amount of soil due to the area being the old driveway from the previous owner. I knew it was better to kill off the grass and keep the soil as is by putting a tarp over top the spots I wanted to update. And I think it worked out wonderfully! I probably gold have left it on throughout the winter to make things better but it still worked and I was able to start getting the garden started in spring of 2024!

I also mulched the edge of my property where my cherry blossom sits and I have plans for different types of flowers this year!

and here are some of my favorites from 2024!

    Spring
Funny story about that lupine is that was only one plant but it had both purple and pink flowers! I am sad to say that I killed it trying to transplant it this year though :(

    (i have to do a part 2 because I can't post more than 20 photos oops D:)

Late Summer/Early fall, The sunflowers were all a part of one plant! I have a picture of my hand on the base. The story behind that is... I planted a bunch of sunflowers and the birds ate them... however one survived a bird bowel movement and started growing in the spot it was and then a wind storm blew it down but it popped up again and we had torrential rains later on in the season and it flattened... I did nothing to help it because I was all about survival of the fittest last year as I was having lots of issues with my breathing and other things. But the end result is shown below!

    Sjoerd, annie Thank you!

Pacnorwest, I would say more for flowers than vegetables. My vege garden doesn't do as well as my flower gardens do. Though I'm pretty proud of my herbs right now! I can't wait to get more herps :)
