Oreti you’re welcome. The mondo grass does seem to spread easily but stay’s in it’s own lane … most of the time.
Soon you will get around to that path when it’s easier to navigate. :fingerscrossed:

Love them Pac, leaves are often overlooked and their true beauty goes unnoticed ....
for me they are the backbone of a garden bringing everything together in unison. :)

Thank you Oreti exactly right . And your garden too . Your garden has used leaf color texture etc in spades. They really are important to incorporate in a garden. Most colorful leafs and shapes are the evergreen shrubs and small trees that hold their own in the garden all Four Seasons.

    25 year old Pelargonium

    Two year old Pelargonium

All I do to overwinter them, is let them dry out in October, then store in garage, dry, until April. Then I cut off dead stuff, prune back to healthy looking branches, and start watering. Plus a little balanced fertilizer.

Last year, I started a cutting from that first one. It's still pretty small.

Beautiful leaf color and contrast on the pelargoniums.

Moved these plants out and repotted. Subtropical plants with colorful markings on the leafs.
    Begonia starting up.

For a foliage rainbow of color, coleus fit the bill. Post your colorful foliage. Variegated leaves. There 300 different varieties.

Anniekay, beautiful laceleaf acer and always happy to see the purple leaf plant I can’t think of the name? They have a long life using dried flowers.

Thanx I am a push over for variegated leaf plants.
Try a google of variegated leaf garden plants in your growing zone. You would be surprised of all the plants that pop up.

Oh yes thank you the amaranth’s they are a beautiful addition in your garden. Definately screams for attention amoung the green garden plants.
