Hi Anniekay. Good question , everyone asks about this cool plant, which requires little attention deer and ground critter resistant. Podophyllum called 'Spotty Dotty' is a hybrid . A friend sent me seeds from their collection a few years ago and it is a star in the garden. Pic of leaves that start in early spring. They look a bit tropical huge size about 12-16” across.
Astrantia a fav flower to grow here too. They dry really well and hold their color . Nice to have a colorful boquet sitting around inside during those cold winter days. Philadelphus Wow lovely mock Orange I have a variegated yellow one , it’s a small shrub the blooms have a wonderful fragrance. Stachys byzantina - Lambs ears.. so soft & velevety grey foliage …and drought tolerant nice bloom. They are a lovely surprise in the garden insects don’t bother them or ground critters. They do like a soft sun exposure. Sjoerd a lovely collection of flowers.
Oreti and Anniekay thank you for the white peony descriptive complements. Cookbook and Redi-whip .. now that makes me hungry …
Pac— i have one of those as well. The smell is really pleasing to me. That stunning peony is amazing.
