It has been raining quite a bit lately, so we pop out to the lottie when we can. Yesterday when we went we saw this silliness as we approached our garden we were presented with this:

Someone had left a packet of weeds right in front of our garden. Before I go off on a tangent I will first have to investigate when neighbours are on the garden. It may have been a mistake.

Well, not everything on this visit was bitter— there was a decent harvest:

Sugarsnaps and two different types of strawberries.
We processed those peas last night when we got home, today it was the strawbs.
It is nice to have early things.

Hope you find the culprit. Your harvest looks great.

Thanks, I have cooled down a bit now.
That was a very decent harvest, and it is all processed now.

Maybe someone weeded for you? Do you recognize any areas that look neater than you expect?

Sorry, I always give benefit of the doubt before I let myself think negatively. :whistling: :p

That is a wonderful harvest you have there !! :like:

I confess I’m the culprit.. I couldn’t stand the few tiny weeds left behind, so I pricked them out and entirely forgot to take them away.. sorry Sjoerd. I’ll never do it again.. I promise..

That mystery calls for a good detective. Hercule Poirot and The Case of the Wayward Weeds.

Daniel—You are right. He was Belgian, right. That would make him a “neighbour”.

    Great looking harvest @Sjoerd .:setf_016:

Any updates on the phantom sneaky weed dumper.....the suspense is mounting. You might have to go undercover.

Cayu— thanks. Yes the weed packet was weird.

Oreti— cheers, they were delicious too. The stock is slowly beginning to build. We got that freezer defrosted just in time.
