I've been picking 3 x a day to keep the slugs from enjoying my beautiful Hood strawberries. My husband and I each made a batch of jam last week, using different recipes. I have been known as "mother nature" by my adult kids forever. Husband is "father grease". Needless to say he used the full sugar version and I the slow cook, less sugar, no pectin recipe. They turned out very different looking from each other. Both beautiful
