I'm attempting to post several photos. We'll see how it goes. I'm a messy gardener, just so you know. My style is pretty loose, if you will. I like the natural shape of things and I have room, so I like to keep things a bit natural looking. It's just my taste. I love a manicured garden, don't get me wrong. This is what works for me

The first is Frida Kahlo rose. The roses seem to be getting a late start this year. It's her first bloom for 2025.

Second is Eden climber. I'm so excited to have added her last year. She has some support and has a long way to go.

Third is a relatively newly remodeled garden at the back steps to the house. This will be full of color soon.

Forth is my boyfriend Joe Pye. We have a thing going on. He's about 9 ft tall at the moment.

Five is just so sweet. Little reseeded Nigella with borage that came back from last year

Six is a newer garden area. We had cotoneaster in here for decades. I took them out to make what I call my tapestry garden. The interest here is mostly foliage. The sweet geraniums are being moved tomorrow as I just want them somewhere else and I have other fun foliage plants for the space.

What a LOVELY garden !! :setc_079: :setc_083: That sign is so cool and I love the roses and the nigella with the borage leaves. I wish my borage would reseed. It kicks the bucket due to heat before the seeds even ripen.

Beautiful garden. Nice to see your some plant combos. I do recognize quite a few. A fav in my garden and I see in your garden is ‘Spotty Dottie’ Podophyllum a hybrid. They have interesting flowers and leave shape and colors. Each year the leafs get larger. Some of mine are almost 14” wide. They a critter proof and a faithful companion to many other shade plants.:smt023

Thank you @Anniekay You and I are gardening in totally different climates aren't we? The only time I've had plants die from heat was 2 years ago this month our Temps went from the 70's to 117f in one day. Freaky Friday. But as a rule our plants generally stay alive until killed by frost. Global warming is happening any we are losing the ability to grow certain plants here. Hard to know if it's the extreme heat or the extreme cold that's causing them to die here. I'm trying to think of an example. One is huckleberry. Garden club had them in our garden in a local national scenic area for several years. We can't keep them alive anymore. Who knows. Anyway, thank you.

PS A boyfriend gave me that road sign in high school.

Oh yes @Pacnorwest I love Dotty! Her burgundy markings look fabulous next to some red heuchera. I just love foliage. I even keep a couple different knotweeds for their vivid display of color. We have a lot of green. It's nice to add to it
